The Cleaning Ambassador plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the club. This team member ensures that members have a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by consistently executing high standards of sanitation and upkeep throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks across all areas of the facility including locker rooms, workout areas, restrooms, lobby, and break rooms.

• Follow the daily and weekly cleaning schedules set by club management.

• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and supplies according to safety guidelines and training.

• Monitor cleanliness of high-touch surfaces and restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.

• Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas including sidewalks and entryways.

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to club management promptly.

• Assist in deep cleaning projects as needed or directed by management.

• Interact professionally and courteously with members to ensure a positive club experience.

• Follow Planet Fitness’ policies and uphold its commitment to the “Judgement Free Zone®” atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers).

• Must be reliable and punctual.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting during shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals on a daily basis.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
