About the Equinox Personal Trainer Role

We're looking for certified (or soon-to-be certified) Personal Trainers who are passionate about movement, wellness, and helping others unlock their true physical and mental potential. Equinox Personal Trainer Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Coaching

• Design and deliver high-impact training sessions tailored to client goals, needs, and preferences.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress with data-driven insights and assessments.

• Offer expert guidance on form, technique, injury prevention, and recovery.

Business & Scheduling

• Build and manage a consistent client roster.

• Use Equinox systems to track appointments, availability, and client communications.

• Actively market your services through internal channels, in-person engagement, and follow-ups.

Club Involvement

• Create an uplifting and results-driven experience on the training floor.

• Collaborate with peers and club staff to maintain an exceptional club environment.

• Contribute to the broader wellness ecosystem of the club, staying informed on all programs and services offered.

Professional Development

• Participate in structured educational sessions, workshops, and continuing education opportunities.

• Engage in one-on-one mentorship with management for business development and goal tracking.

• Maintain certifications and stay current with industry standards and trends.

Equinox Personal Trainer Qualifications

• Personal Training certification (or commitment to obtain one through Equinox's certification support program).

• Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to earn).

• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for health, fitness, and education.

• Organized, punctual, and proactive in managing workload and client needs.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

• Comfortable using digital tools and scheduling systems.
