Planet Fitness is hiring for Bilingual Member Services Representative

The Bilingual Member Services Representative at Planet Fitness is responsible for creating a positive member experience by delivering exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, with fluency in both Spanish and English.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Assist with new member sign-ups.
  • Conduct tours for prospective members.
  • Facilitate updates to member accounts as needed.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be fluent in Spanish; both written and verbal.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are must-have qualities.
• Exceptional customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.

Compensation:

$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
