Role Overview

We are currently seeking Electrical Engineering Technicians to support field operations with technical data collection, diagnostics, and site verification. This role plays a critical part in the lifecycle of solar and energy projects by ensuring that key electrical components meet engineering and safety standards. Technicians will use the Ensite app to complete tasks and submit structured data for engineering analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical assessments on-site, including system verification and component identification

• Collect and document electrical specifications such as voltage, amperage, and wire sizing

• Capture high-quality images of panels, breakers, conduit runs, and related infrastructure

• Communicate findings with engineering teams and escalate anomalies when needed

• Follow detailed task instructions within the Ensite app for consistent reporting

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred

• Field experience in electrical, solar, or systems installation a plus

• Familiarity with NEC codes and residential electrical systems

• Competence with multimeters, circuit testers, and standard hand tools

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work safely on rooftops and around live electrical components

• Smartphone and ability to work with mobile apps

Compensation

Pay is based on the complexity and scope of each assignment, approved following quality review.
